Dear World,
Here's the thing. I am a high school senior, which means that like all seniors who are fortunate enough to be able to do so, I am applying to college. About a month ago, I applied early decision to a school (we'll just call it School X), which means that I hear from them December 15th. If I'm accepted, then I have to go there; this is a good thing. If I am not accepted, then I get to write many many essays to apply to many many more schools. This would be a Bad Thing.
So here's my deal. You (the World) arrange for me to be accepted at School X. In turn, I will not spend my time writing large quantities of various essays about myself, but rather will devote my time to wonderful projects that you will all benefit from. This way, I get into a good school and don't have to spend my time writing essays rather than making myself useful, a good school gets me, and everyone gets cool and useful stuff like Litmus and an awesome Firefox extension. It's a win-win situation for everyone, so what do you say? If you, the people of the World, would like to participate, then I thank you.
Thanks,
Zach Lipton
Oh, and congrats to everyone on Firefox 1.5. Here's to 2.0 and creating an even better browser.
