JavaScript strict warnings are really a pet peeve of mine. I also happen to be a fan of the User Friendly comic strip, and I noticed they hadn't yet done any gags aimed at Mozilla. So I sent Illiad (the author of the comic) a little e-mail.

Well, these days I don't have much to hold against them now. The performance issue I held them responsible for in the 1.0 days has been cleaned up.
That said, one nice thing about fixing strict warnings is that your code is much more exact, inflexible.
