I finished The Book of Illusions, but was disappointed. Sorry Joe, Ian. The "Illusions" portion of the title had me expecting some great character traversal, but alas. It ended up being more of a study about things we leave behind: memories, relationships, actions, and I was simply expecting more.
So, I've begun to read Don Delillo's White Noise. I hope to finish it either on the plane, or by the 30th, when I have to return home from vacation.
Posted by stephend at December 18, 2002 10:17 PMIn building your amazing Aqua application, one of the most important things to consider is the Dock. There are three things your app needs to be "Dock Compliant." Now, I write this knowing that the Dock will be going through some major changes soon, but for the most part, these should still hold true.

Keep in mind that often, the functionality of your code has a lot to do with how your interface is designed. How many developers have come up with great functional ideas from working with their interface or looking at their competitors'? Start working on your Aqua compliance from day one. Don't wait until the last minute.
