Licensing Terms

With the impending release of Thunderbird 2, the changelog will inadvertently be linked to from many websites. Here is a gentle reminder regarding the information obtained from each and every post of this blog:
The information is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported license, and can be freely shared, copied, distributed, transmitted and remixed provided it is attributed to me, Gary Kwong, or to The Rumbling Edge, and a live link is provided on the attribution for HTML works (Individual posts' links in The Rumbling Edge will suffice; not necessarily the main page).
For example, if the changelog to Thunderbird 2 is to be listed, a live link to the Thunderbird 2 changelog page is to be provided, with a mention of the origin, either the author Gary Kwong or The Rumbling Edge blog. A link to main The Rumbling Edge page is optional.
Similarly, for the case of Thunderbird 2 Beta 2 changelog, in addition to the origin (Gary Kwong or The Rumbling Edge), a live link as shown will do just fine.
The purpose of this is to recognize the works of bloggers and volunteers like me who devote their precious time, hard work and painstaking effort into providing the information free for everyone.
In the meantime, many thanks go out to all the Thunderbird developers (mscott, bienvenu) for helping me compile bug lists week in week out; Tomcat, marcia (and many more) for their invaluable help during Thunderbird Bugdays; mozillaZine (jason, alex) for hosting the site; readers, volunteers, bug-fixers and source hackers out there for emailing me all my errors, submitting bug reports and contributing patches to Bugzilla @ Mozilla.
And finally, to all end-users, if you use Thunderbird and want to contribute to Thunderbird in one way or another, you are most welcome at mozillaZine forums.
