Job Search

Hello all,

I am currently nearing the end of my National Service in Singapore, and will be starting a search for a job in either Singapore or Hong Kong.

While I am considering all forms of potential employment everywhere, I am especially searching for internships with companies based in Singapore or Hong Kong from 08 Jan 2007 onwards prior to entering University at National University of Singapore, Bachelor of Computing in May 2007.

I welcome any inquiries regarding my potential employment, so here's a quick look at my profile:

  • Fluent in English / Mandarin / Cantonese
  • GCE "O" Level - 7As, 2Bs
  • GCE "A" Level - AABC, 2Bs for languages, Merit (Maths S-Paper) & Band One (Project Work)
  • Army experience
  • Personal Computer Assembly / Maintenance / Troubleshooting
  • Windows (MS-DOS - WinXP) / Gentoo Linux (2004.2 - present) / Mac OS 9 / OS X
  • All Office & Photoshop-related programs. (E.g. Excel, Word & The GIMP)
  • HTML / XHTML / CSS2
  • Basic experience in C/C++, Java, Javascript, Visual Basic, Flash, PHP, MySQL, Apache
  • Video encoding (XviD / VirtualDub)
  • Bugzilla
  • NSIS / Inno Setup scripting
  • Collaboration with fellow Mozilla developers
  • Mozilla Firefox bug reporting
  • And of course, The Rumbling Edge & Mozilla Thunderbird

A résumé is available on request. I can be contacted via email: swader {[at}] gmail.com

In the meantime, for those of you wondering, yes, The Rumbling Edge will continue to be maintained.

have good luck, tho it's prolly not necessary :-) . Sorry can't donate $, no job myself (too often). tho i don't often visit there, i just now appreciate seeing the abridged bug list (some bugs as expected). I like trying trunk browsers, but I've decided to avoid any but 1.5.x TBird for mail, cuz mail is data (and i'm using mail for resume sending, replies, etc)

i think you should do well in finding something good. singapore is nice (short visit decades ago).
