Comments
Hi,
I recently downloaded Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5 RC2 for my linux. It was working fine. But I noticed that my machine was getting slower and slower. It used to take ages to go from one desktop to another or to another application. On checking the free memory with command free, I noticed that I have almost no memory left both in main memory and in swap.
I reverted back to Thunderbird 1.0.7 and the above problem seemed to have been solved.
I also noticed the similar problem in Firefox 1.5 version and have to revert back to Firefox 1.0.7.
Can this problem be fixed? I am keen to use Firefox 1.5 and Thunderbird 1.5.
Thanks.

I suspect a memory leak. You could file a bug on this over @ bug.mozilla.org
I haven't had any problems using Firefox 1.5 nor Thunderbird 1.5 RC 2. Your mileage may vary though.
