I have adapted Infocraft's Firefox download odometer counter and applied it to Thunderbird as you can see on the sidebar to the left.

Successful as of end-Sept 2005.

• Fixed: 261668 - POP3, "Fetch headers only": Mails disappear from inbox
• Fixed: 288088 - Turn auto complete text that has no matches red
• Fixed: 288110 - Some RSS items cause a corruption in the message display window
• Fixed: 290237 - add UI for honoring ISP spam headers
• Fixed: 294107 - Unable to Send to a Thunderbird Mailing List
• Fixed: 294580 - changing accounts in folder pane doesn't change the account manager screen

• Since 08 Sep 04: 258465 - Duplicate entries appear in feeds
• Since 03 Dec 04: 272994 - When I move a whole mailing list between address books, it gets destroyed.
• Since 16 Jan 05: 278612 - Thunderbird can nuke local folder contents when you move them around
