Firefox 2.0.0.1 RC1 candidate builds ready for testing!

Those of you enjoying Firefox 2.0 will be happy to know we are getting ready for our first security/stability update! Firefox 2.0.0.1 is just around the corner and we need your help in making sure it's better than the original! :-)

So please grab the latest RC1 candidate builds and let us know how things go:

I'm using a Macbook Pro and all versions 2 (alphas and betas) where slow to start up or did hang a lot on Firefox startup.

Version 2.0.0.1 looks like having fixed this issue. If anybody else can try this new version on Macs with intel processors, it would be great.

somebody : a change on the fourth number means new version without incompatibility with extensions. A change on the third number means changes on some API, and then it may causes some minor incompatibility with some extensions.

Isn't that pushed to the right one (what you list for .r.x should be .x, and same for 3/4)? 4 d.p.s are just overkill ['sides, any plans for releasing a 2.0.1? Since you're planning to leap straight from 2 to 3 last I checked, bugfixes excluded, and if the digit's unused...]

Menus seem to be buggy.

Bookmark folders don't properly open to the side to display their contents as they did before.

I've just been hanging out not getting anything done. What can I say? I've basically been doing nothing worth mentioning, but pfft. Not that it matters. Pretty much nothing exciting happening to speak of. I haven't been up to much these days.
