Reminder - Bon Echo Test Day Two Days Away - Friday July 28!
We have an exciting day of testing in store - for more information, please visit our Testing Page.
We will be testing a few of the new features in Bon Echo, and we hope you can take some time to join us for a day of Litmus and explatory testing. We would especially like to see more Mac and Linux testers join us.

Bon Echo Community Test Day Information Page is up
I just posted information about our upcoming test day: Bon Echo Community Test Day
There is information in that document about the focus areas for the test day. If you plan on helping test RSS, you might want to get a head start on downloading some of the client side feed readers so you are primed and ready to go for next Friday.

Next Community Test Day scheduled for July 28th
Our next scheduled test day will be Friday, July 28th from 7am - 5pm PDT. I will post a link shortly which explains the focus areas for this testing day shortly. The two target areas for this test day will be: (1) RSS and (2) Session Restore. There will be opportunities to test from test cases in our Litmus test tool or do some exploratory testing on your own. The document I will post will explain more about how the test day will run.
During one of the last test days we tried having community members join via AIM/Instant Messenger, and we will try that again since some people don't like to use IRC.
For more information about test days, please visit: http://wiki.mozilla.org/Mozilla_QA_Community:Test_Day
Prizes will be awarded to the top testers. During our last day we awarded tshirt to a few testers, as well as an Ogio Firefox Messenger Bag to the top tester. I make the awards for this next test day a surprise, but I always have some cool samples lying around for the right tester!

Interested Testers: First Beta available on the Road to Firefox 2
http://developer.mozilla.org/devnews/ has all you need to know about the Beta1 release.
Things the community could help us test:
(1) RSS feeds and the new RSS functionality
Please Check this list of open bugs before filing any new bugs: http://tinyurl.com/kyu5y
(2) Session restore
Please Check this list of open bugs before filing any new bugs: http://tinyurl.com/l76up
Session restore bugs are filed under Tabbed Browsing in Bugzilla, but it may be easier to edit this query and look for the words "session restore" in the summary if you want to get a smaller subset of bugs.
Posting feedback to this blog is welcome, or if you find a bug please file it in Bugzilla. Things to include in Bugzilla or blog posts:
(1) Talkback ID if you crash/Intel Mac users please include the Apple Crash report
(2) Extensions you might have installed
(3) Machine configuration (specific OS, memory, etc) if it might be relevant.
As a reminder, we will have a Community test Day on July 28th - there should be more information about this coming soon.
