That's a typo in the title. We always delay Thunderbird by 4 or 5 days because we can't QA and do the release for both products at the same time.
Thunderbird 1.5 RC2 won't be coming out until next week (probably towards the end of the week).

On Ubuntu Linux 5.04 Hoary with no extensions and a new profile some parts of some pages don't display text when they should be. For example, on the page ftp://mozilla.oregonstate.edu/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/ The text "Index of ftp://mozilla.oregonstate.edu/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/" is displayed but the names of the directories aren't (I can still see the underlines though). On any bug on bugzilla.mozilla.org, I can't see comments on bugs. On this blog, I can't see the text in the Comments field (but I can see the text in the name, email and URL fields and I can also see other comments). I can't see anything in the View Source window. All of these are fine with Mozilla.org's Firefox 1.0.7 and with Ubuntu's 1.0.7. I have the problem if I update to 1.5rc2 from 1.5rc1 and with 1.5rc2 (redownloaded, not upgraded). Is anyone else having problems like this?

I also don't see it with 'check for updates' either (Firefox 1.5RC1 which has failed to update since beta 1).

Sorry to explain that further, I've had to manually update from beta 1 to beta 2 to RC 1 each time.
I tried deleting that directory everyone said was the issue, but it didn't work.

I'm on Windows XP Pro SP2. I tried getting the update (from RC1) via Help > Check for updates, but it said the update failed and it would try to fetch the whole thing. I declined.
Later, I noticed a restart request window that must have popped up in the background at some point. Clicked 'Restart now' and got into an endless error loop:
Software Update Failed
One or more files could not be updated. Please make sure all other applications are closed and that you have permission to modify files, and then restart Firefox to try again.
It finally dawned on me that I had set my search plugin files as Read Only to prevent a bug that would corrupt the last one used and prevent Firefox from starting.
I don't know why an update would want to mess with my existing search plugins. I'm a bit peeved that you'd remove my favorite engines (Dictionary.com for instance) and replace them with crap (eBay, Answers.com, etc.).

Memory problem with auto refresh sites.

It is a site about cricket(a game). If you visit live scorecards of any live game then the page is automatically refreshes at regular intervals. I have seen that it makes FF eat lot of memory going upto 150MB for a single tab. This site often leads to crash but, I am unable to submit Talkback as talkback seems to fail if I am connecting through a authenticated proxy :(.

When opening pages with Ctrl-click from the Bookmarks Toolbar in a new Tab, the Saved form information for that page is not available anymore.
When opening a new tab first (via File menu or Ctrl-T), then clicking the page from the Bookmarks Toolbar everything works as expected.

The clipboard in this latest build of Firefox doesn't seem to work properly. I copy and I can't paste what I just copied, sometimes even within firefox. This is VERY bothersome and annoying, please take a look at this!
