Seems faster, less memory usage too, I dont know if that is just something in my head, or if it is true. Once again still upset that bug 223542 is not fixed :(

will 1.0.5 fix all the outstanding security issues?

I think a new bug has risen. Sometimes the clipboard wont transfer to other applications. Like if I copy a url or text from firefox, I cannot paste it in MSN or yahoo instant messenger. It is a drag!

I've been using the 1.05 candidate build for windows for many hours today, and haven't come across any problems with my usual rounds.

Ah ha. Copy does not work in firefox at all, but 'Cut' does. Can anyone else confirm this. Like try to copy the url from the address bar.

Using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.9) Gecko/20050709 Firefox/1.0.5.

Can not open a new window using either the menu "File" -> "New Window" or the keyboard shortcut "cmd-N". When envoking the command the from either the menu or the shortcut the cursor changes to the pointer with a spinning black and white ball next to it. This lasts until you move the cursor, which then returns to normal. No new window is opened.

New windows are not able to be opened from external applications either.

For the benefit of the folks who mentioned the following: I have been able to open new tabs and new windows with the command keys, am also able to copy, cut, paste and undo. Sorry you are having problems. :(

I can report that:

- I got a message that "SpellBound is not compatable with FireFox" on startup.

- the free version of Roboform (which works fine with FF 1.0.4) crashes FF 1.0.5 on startup with a message ""There has been an internal RoboForm error. Would you like to send a report?" I select "Yes" but I receive no feedback that the report has been sent, and FF 1.0.5 bites the dust. This is not so unusual as they usually take some time after the final versions of FF are released to update their software. I am hoping the 1.0.5 does a better job of working with passwords so that they can be added to the password manager without third party fixs (so far, the "always remember password" widget seems to work rather well for me, but it's not perfect.

- FF 1.0.5 works fine with my "Deer Park Test" profile.

This not a Firefox issue but Thunderbird. At least for me there is an issue with cursor keys and JavaScript: When using the Windows 'Send to' feature somtimes the cursor keys don't work in the 'Subject field'. If I enable JavaScript in Thunderbird, this error doesn't occur (see bug 288867).

The open new window problem mentioned above was determined to be caused by the "User Agent Switcher" extension (v0.6.6). It needed to be uninstalled and then reinstalled. Things are working fine now.

I don't know if your still doing crappy shirts, but I found a issue. Usually a mouse wheel click will open a link in a new tab. It still works for hyperlinks, but no longer works with image links.
FireFox 1.0.5 Gecko 20050711

I am running version RoboForm (R) Version 6.1.2. It does not play well with the new version of Firefox. I am going to have to use IE until this gets staigtened out, as I am a Roboform addict.

Firefox and Roboform Pro 6.3.95 are incompatible. About 10 seconds after opening Firefox, I get internal error form as reported in an earlier post here and when I submit it, Firefox crashes, so I'm back to IE at the moment (god awful).

I'm having the Firefox 1.0.5 and Roboform 6.3.96 problem as well.

Anyone know where to download the old Firefox 1.0.4 version so I can revert? I simply will NOT go back to using a substandard browser like IE - at least not without taking it out on my loved ones. Please don't make me take it out on my loved ones!

Just downloaded FF 1.0.6 and clean installed. Downloaded Adapter from Roboform site, "Firefox 1.0.5 - 1.0.6 roboform-firefox-1.0.5.xpi" and installed the roboform-firefox extention. Now Roboform icon is on FF toolbar with the text "Unsupported browser". When selected, the dialog box says "This adapter only supports Firefox ver 1.0.5. You are using Firefox ver 1.0.6"

Bottom line, there doesn't appear any Roboform adapter for FF 1.0.6. Any ideas?
