Jammin'

Pic (from left to right) of Milton, Bob, Tom, and me jamming at Brady's in Manassas last Thursday for Paul's 50th birthday.

We were pretty bad (no rehearsal at all), but Paul had fun and that's all that counts.

Good Golly!

Apparantly they don't make kids like they used to. From an article on the latest WV sniper incident:

A frightened 16-year-old girl says she was shot while at a convenience store in Dunbar, about six miles from Charleston. The girl ran to a nearby car for help, asking to be taken to safety.

No one was hurt.

Um. Doesn't getting shot count?

Back on the horse

Fixed a Camino bug tonight. Sure, it was basically removing a couple of lines, but....Wahoooo!

Ahhh

I've been having fun with Apple DTS recently. The gist of the conversation went like this:

Me: In my app, it hurts when I do "XYZ".
DTS: Ok we'll check.
...Twenty emails later, back and forth...
DTS: We have a solution, just do "XYZ".
Me: Uh, but wait, it hurts when....

Good times!

Quick Update

Sorry I haven't updated for a while, I've been away all week on vacation. I hope to have some pictures up shortly (give me a little bit of a break, I just got back tonight).

On the Camino front, I'm in the process of triaging all the bugs on people's lists (most notably on Saari's buglist!) and consolodating them onto mine. If you filed a bug more than three months ago, please try it again with a nightly build and update the bug to include if it's still an issue. That will help my efforts greatly. Also, don't be dismayed if I come along and, with some pithy comment, close the bug for lack of information. I'm triaging over 200 bugs, many filed last year, and I simply don't have time to pull teeth to get the necessary information.

How can you help? We need QA. Scan over buglists. Update old bugs with new information. Mark duplicates or "works for me". Anything that will allow me to determine if I need to move a bug onto my tracking list or it can be ignored.

Once this process is complete, my buglist will be (save for a few outstanding bugs) the one place to look for what to work on for Camino. Anyone will be able to go to my buglist and pick off things to work on. The faster I can get there, the faster we'll all be on the same page.
