Memoirs of a Geezer

I realized that I haven't really had the chance to blog about this, but with MacWorld upcoming, I wanted to get the word out.

I am no longer a member of the Firefox team at Google, though the majority of my 20% time is spent helping Ben et al with Firefox (and Camino). Since October, I've been helping to bootstrap Google's new Mac Client Team, an engineering group whose goal is to make insanely great Google applications for Mac OS X. No, I can't tell you what we're working on. Suffice to say, it's very interesting and a lot of fun.

Why does this concern you? Well, maybe you're interested in joining our cause. Google is sponsoring the Speaker's Lounge at MacWorld this week, and yours truly (among others) will be there doing several stints answering questions about Google and what it's like to work there (in a word: awesome). If being surrounded by incredibly smart people who love the Mac interests you, come find us at the show.
