Why should someone dump BOINC and reinvent the wheel (WCG)? :-/

WCG uses the same technology as grid.org, developed by United Devices, which has existed in over 3 years. Grid.org has over 2 million computers/users worldwide. If anything, BOINC is the reinvention of the wheel.
