Who wouldn't want to be in team MozillaZine? Maybe the people that are in the Firefox team - http://firefoxfah.sourceforge.net/ ?
I'm in the Firefox F@H team only because I found out about it first. Last time I checked, the Firefox team was ahead of the MozillaZine team too...
Posted by michaell at November 23, 2004 12:50 AMYes, and as I pointed out, I created a team in WCG with the generic name "Mozilla" just because there are these two rivaling teams in Folding@Home.
What can I say, I like RAF, Spewey, et al, so I chose the MozillaZine team for F@H. But my primary focus will be in the Mozilla team of World Community Grid.
Posted by David Tenser at November 23, 2004 12:55 AMWell, I run both distributed computing projects in Windows XP without problems... although the processor does get insanely hot, anything I can do to ease the suffering of people, I will do... ;-)
Posted by MonsterTruck at November 23, 2004 2:34 AMBah, humbug! Determine the primality of very large numbers for the good of humanity instead! ;-)
Posted by Jeff Walden at November 23, 2004 4:59 AMDoh... sorry David - I obviously didn't read to the end of your article! The teams are just a bit of fun anyway - I had F@H running for months without contributing to a particular team. The "no team" team always wins by far anyway...
Posted by michaell at November 23, 2004 12:44 PMDo you know anything about Figth AIDS @ Home? (http://fightaidsathome.scripps.edu/)
I've been using it a long time now, but I would like to know if it really does what it says or not. Do you have any idea?
børge, I have no idea about it, never heard of it before. I'd say you should go for WCG and join the Mozilla team. ;)
