Maybe electrix http://electrix.mozdev.org/ will do what you want? I don't claim to have used it, but the documentation says "Hit C-e in a textarea to edit in e.g. emacs".
Posted by jgraham at August 13, 2003 2:55 AMPossibly moxex. It also allows you to view source in a text editor too!
Posted by Rob... at August 13, 2003 9:37 AMhmm... Moxex's URL is http://mozex.mozdev.org/
Posted by Rob... at August 13, 2003 9:38 AMMozex' view source thing is pretty horribly broken for POST pages, so don't even bring it up.
Yeah, electrix may be what I want here... I need to figure out a way to make things like that coexist with the daily Mozilla reinstalls....
Posted by Boris at August 13, 2003 2:59 PMHmm. If that 'something' turns out to be a technical solution, there will probably be lots of other people interested in the same thing.
Posted by jgraham at August 14, 2003 6:50 AMWait, wait ... You use *a mailer that crashes when your browser does*? What kind of bass-ackwards software architecture is that? :-)
Posted by mpt at September 2, 2003 5:54 AMmpt, I in fact do NOT use it, as much as possible. But Mozilla insists on bringing it up when I click on mailto: links, see, because that's something that really sucks about Linux thus far.
