Posted by RAF at July 21, 2003 12:32 AMHmm, looking at the checkin logs for the Firebird project page it looks like he removed this on a whim without consulting anyone else on the firebird project. Now that Firebird is meant to be the official Mozilla.org browser I think that it's important it has an official home on mozilla.org (like Seamonkey does).
Posted by Paul at July 21, 2003 1:18 AMThis change does seem to be in line with the new end-user marketing campaign.

Marketing
With client products now among the most important delivery vehicles for Gecko technology, we will be building up an aggressive campaign to market the Firebird browser. The why document was a successful start to our marketing efforts. A number of other initiatives including a new product site will be rolled out over the coming milestones.
