Have you ever seen Boomtown, Dave? I don't know what you think about crime dramas, but this show definitely rocks. They won the Peabody award this year, to boot.

I think you can see the reruns on A&E. There will undoubtedly be a great DVD put out sometime this summer.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent is also another great show. Vincent D'Onofrio does a fantastic job in the acting department. But I think you might already have enough to watch!

Matthew, I'm with you all the way. Boomtown is undoubtedly the best show on TV right now. I like police/lawyer dramas, but I think that even people who don't should give this show a try. Luckily, it just got renewed by NBC (which was in serious doubt because of its low ratings in spite of near-universal ravings by critics).

I haven't seen Boomtown. I watch both of the CSIs and Hack, so I decided I had enough cop shows on my plate. :) I've heard it's good though.

I thought the other one was the _Safari_ weblog, with this one catering to random other things you cared about, including general web-related topics?

So Hyatt, what about your top 5 movies of all time?

Talking about shows - the only TV shows I watch (yay TiVo) are Simpsons, Daily Show with Jon Stewart, occasionally Who's Line Is It Anyway?, occasionally Will and Grace, and the last show I watch is ER. ER is actually a quite good show. I would never have started watching it if it weren't for the fact that my mom would watch it and if I was in the room I would get sucked into watching it with her, and after this happened 5 or 6 times I finally started deliberately watching it with her. It's a great show.

Top of the bill is still Buffy though!

Or should I say;
There's No Place Like Plrtz Glrb

Any Cube/Zelda owners out there?

Posted by Servaas at May 13, 2003 3:19 PM

Servaas - I have all Zeldas there are, AFAIK. Certainly I have all the non-GB Zelda's, and I have Zelda, Link's Awakening as well. Are there any other GB Zelda's aside from that?

Factoid - Not only do I have all the zeldas, but I have all the gold-edition ones as well (I'm assuming there wasn't a gold edition for Zelda, Link's Awakening. If there is, I've certainly never seen it. Anybody know if there was one?), which means I also have the Bonus Disc from Wind Waker, which contains Ocarina of Time + Master Quest (which is Ocarina of Time with levels changed and overall harder)

So, what was it you wanted to say about it?

Update: I just looked online, and there are some GB/GBA Zeldas I don't have (never even heard of them). Of course, the 2 reasons I don't have them:
1) My GB broke
2) I don't have a GBA

The games are Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages, and the Link to the Past / Four Swords thingy.

So an accurate statement would be I have every single non-GB/GBA Zelda, plus Link's Awakening (even though I can't play that anymore, because my GB is broken)

Dave, why does the /hyatt blog have a link to this one, but this one doesn't have a link to /hyatt?

Ugh. How can she wind up with Pacey after all this time? I'm so dissappointed.

Just that it's (for me) the best game ever. It's so big and ... nice. Hoping from island from island. Also a huge fan of the artwork. Wich is strange because at first I really hated it. And also, Kevin, you should really pick up one SP GB its what the GBA should have been. And while your at it pick up both Seasons and Ages. Their really good.

I'm curious to see how Spike will fit in with Angel & Co.. given there history it will certainly be interesting. I just started watching Angel towards the end of this season, but I am a huge Buffy fan. Angel seems interesting, but I don't see how it is better than Buffy? Care to enlighten me Dave?

Btw, your link to your other blog is broken in this article.

hey, Hyatt, don't you like 24? the tv show?

Posted by cesar at May 20, 2003 6:37 PM

How can you watch CSI over Law and Order? BLEH! 24 was really great tonight btw, although it's been kind of silly since the bomb went off. Also, The Shield > all other cop shows!!!
