Pretty great indeed.
Posted by Olivier Scherler at May 9, 2003 5:07 AMThe background image for the header is too small on large resolutions, or rather, the #titlebar div should have its background-color changed to orange.
Other than that, looking great while still very clean.
Posted by Sander at May 9, 2003 10:07 AMDo you have a link to your RSS feed somewhere on here? I have it already, but you might want to have a link somewhere.
Posted by Jeff at May 9, 2003 10:21 AMAgree with Sander on the background color issues. I like the look, but I think the ordering of the things in the right column is a little strange. Seems like Calendar and Recent Entries should be adjacent. Perhaps this order:
Calendar
Recent Entries (maybe this should just be deleted, it seems unnecessary when you can just scroll down)
Archives
Search
Friends
Not really sure, though, that doesn't seem to great either. Anyway, the ordering is kind of random. But I do like the "new and improved" site.
I like it and I think it should be applied to the monthly archive, comment, and indvidual entry templates, too.
The grey on white of unvisited links is a little washed out on my monitor, perhaps because of size.
Posted by Michael at May 9, 2003 5:10 PMLooks nice as does Surfin Safari but I second having a link to your RSS feed on this one. I did get the feed off that one and Pink's for NetNewsWire as the NewsMonster one for Mozilla didn't work.
Posted by mog at May 15, 2003 10:25 PMI like the style, and would like to use it for my (not yet existant) personal 'blog. Any chance of the css becoming available for download somewhere, or are you going to keep the curvy goodness for yourself?
