Erikson will finally be published in the USA starting somewhere in 2004. But yeah, unbelievable how long it took for American publishers to pick up his books (before they always said that "there is no market for [his] books in the USA"). *boggles*

Just finished reading House of Chains by the same author (part of the malazan series - book 4). Fantastic author. And as much as I want to tell you how good it is I wouldn't dare spoil your reading of the series.

If anyone is interested and you should be the series is ..

Gardens of the Moon
Deadhouse Gates
Memories of Ice
House of Chains.

I just wish he'd write quicker ;)

Hey Dave - if you liked the Martin books, and you're still into RPGs, we [that is, Guardians Of Order] will be releasing a Song of Ice and Fire RPG late this year. [Or, rather, we're going to /try/ and release it late this year. ;)]
