Ok, I think that's a reasonable compromise.
Although I still don't see why you bothered with the split anyway.

Posted by hyatt at March 18, 2003 7:45 PMRight column links problem: you're probably using padding in your CSS somewhere and its extending into the right column; my guess, anway Padding was what was breaking my link hover in my middle column when I used it to push out the right column. Anyway, I could be wrong, but it looks like a padding thing. I used a float left with a width value for the right column and that fixed my problem.
