They don't always say that same thing. If you talk to the right people at each place, they claim that 'We own this place.', rather than just having an understanding/stake in it.

I don't get why the hell I care about their stake, though.

Oh, Hyatt. Now that you're a mac user, do yourself a favor and download one of the Escape Velocity games from Ambrosia. One of the first two, not EV Nova. The graphics were worlds prettier, but jesus - there's a reason nobody tried to do a kung-fu game back in the infocom days.

moof, I'm in the middle of Kingdom Hearts. I liked it, but started getting my ass kicked in the Olympus level. I should come back to it eventually though.

eh? There was a kung-fu game back in the infocom games era - it was called Karateka.. great game :)

Kingdom Hearts rocks. hyatt - go level up a bit, then go back to Olympus. It's not too hard. It took me a few tries to beat Hercules, but once you get in the right rhythm he's not hard.

Man, the Hades cup is nasty. But I managed to beat the whole thing in 1 go (50 battles, gets really nasty, but you're allowed to take a break in the middle). It's fun, too.

EV Nova is actually pretty cool. Yes, some of the story is annoying and stupid, but still it's an excellent game.

Multiplayer in freelancer isn't that great for the sole fact that the servers are run by individuals, not Microsoft or Digital Anvil or whoever would take care of that.

All of your player data is stored server side, so that means if one day you can't get on to that server, or someone decides to up and take it down, too bad. All your hard work is gone.
