Dude, it's just because everyone envys your BM mastery.
Posted by mrbiiggy at March 11, 2003 11:52 PMBlogging about your LATEST bowel movement is such a one shot deal - think different...
Posted by Jackal at March 11, 2003 11:59 PMdamn, he took it there. Slashdot is totally your bitch now.
Posted by SWGS at March 12, 2003 12:17 AMI just had this frightening mental image of bowel movements, flushing, and Surfin'.
Damn you, now I have reason to fear my dreams...
Posted by drew at March 12, 2003 12:56 AMI've been a fan of yours since I began using Chimera a few months ago and am a bigger fan now that I know you love playing RPGs too. I have yet to play Xenosaga but it's already on my list of RPGs to buy. I'm currently playing Final Fantasy Tactics Advance which is pretty awesome.
Posted by Richie at March 12, 2003 1:20 AMThis rumor is better :
"Namco hired Hyatt to add tabbed browsing to Xenosaga".
uh uh uh.
JY.
Posted by JY at March 12, 2003 1:21 AM"Dave Hyatt runs Bowelwulf Cluster"
I know I'm silly, I just can't help it.
Posted by adaxl at March 12, 2003 2:27 AMOh no, I've become a victim of bowel play.
Posted by Walter Ian Kaye at March 12, 2003 2:47 AMI've been waiting for that game to come out since Xenogears. Finally it's here, I have to play it. It's nice to see a person who is/was involved in development of my favorite browsers also plays my favorite video games. Glad to see too another opinion sides PSM's.
Posted by mog at March 12, 2003 3:36 AMSo that's what "Empty Cache" does... Yuk!
Posted by Diggory at March 12, 2003 5:12 AMIn Soviet Russia, bowel movements have Dave Hyatt!
;)
Posted by Dan Vincent at March 12, 2003 6:09 AMSlashdot exclusive!
"Dave Hyatt gives us a sneak peek into the inner bowels of Safari."
Posted by eko at March 12, 2003 6:19 AMAh, but imagine the attention you'd get if the bowel movement were *leaked*.
Posted by wednesday at March 12, 2003 6:53 AMHey, I have to write about something! Do you think it's easy coming up with Apple rumors every day?
Well, yeah, OK, it probably does seem like it would be... but it's not!
Posted by John Moltz at March 12, 2003 7:40 AMI've always thought the rumors were a result taking taking a random fortune cookie message, and appending the words "G5", "PDA", and "MWNY" to them.
Posted by David at March 12, 2003 7:49 AMWell, since CARS is doing it, I'd better quick write a review of Dave's bowels!
Posted by Jan at March 12, 2003 8:47 AMfewer bowel movments! fewer hours on Xenophobia!
more tabbed browsing!
yah mule!!!
;^)
This is a really big Bug on Safari. I tried this in v.60 and v.64 and both have the same Bug. This does not happen in Camino (previously Chimera). If you go to this page http://www.unsanity.com/haxies/fruitmenu/ occasionally Safari will draw the wrong images for the thumb-links. This happens on various web pages.
Posted by Paulo at March 12, 2003 11:28 AMI just want to go on record against bowel movements, and to say that I do NOT want to see them incorporated into Safari. If I wanted bowel movements in my web browser, I would use IE or Opera.
Posted by afg at March 12, 2003 11:42 AMWith 802.11 nobody knows where you're sitting when you post...
Posted by wireless dumping ground at March 12, 2003 11:50 AMGood lord, this is worse than the grout jokes on the bathroom wall in the Civ. E. building....
Posted by Dave Goldman at March 12, 2003 3:33 PMAh, the pleasures of living under the nerd microscope...
Posted by Glen Sanford at March 12, 2003 3:39 PMI brought the Tab topic up on MozillaZine because I thought it appropriate. Since you helped write Phoenix, I thought it would give insight about the choices made. Did I feel it Slashdot-worthy? Not really. But I thought it a good read from a Camino/Phoenix prospective.
Posted by alanjstr at March 12, 2003 6:16 PMLOL We have all sorts of grout jokes in the art building at Southwest Texas.
Oscar the grout...
the grout wall of china...
getting a little cocky aren't we? :)
Posted by seven5 at March 12, 2003 11:13 PM"Grout Park: your source for toilet humor?"
Posted by Dave Goldman at March 13, 2003 12:07 AMDamn. That should be "Grout Park: your source for toilet humor..."
...
"Some have groutness shoved upon them"
"Veggie burger, hold the grouts"
...ok, this is gonna get old _fast_.
When can we expect a U.M.N. compatable version of Safari?
Hehe, Xenosaga kicks ass! ( I bought a PS2 for it.)
Posted by Quicksilver at March 13, 2003 1:20 AMNot unless your gas can travel through the ether at OC-3 speeds, with no loss in potency.
Posted by G-man at March 13, 2003 3:59 PMAmway salesman: "Ain't it grout?"
Posted by Walter Ian Kaye at March 14, 2003 3:58 AMErrr...what are you talking about? There's been 3 articles including your name in the past 3 months. Besides, you sound as if you don't like the attention or something. That seems a little coy, considering that you're posting a public blog that - presumably - is a way to share your thoughts with as many readers as possible.
