I'm no Bush fan but I find your constant accusations of lying and illegitimacy very off-putting. Bush won the election fair and square. Get over it. Can you provide any decent examples that a reasonable person would agree that the administration is lying?

I'm glad you don't like it. It should stick in the craw of people like you, in the same way that this mendacious President's bellicosity, intransigence and vapidity stick in mine. Maybe you'll start reading some of the articles that I've been citing. At least read the article by the member of the Iraqi opposition. Or read about Shock and Awe. If you want to be associated with these people, you go right ahead. Looks like they need the support.

What I meant is that due to the matter-of-fact-tone-with-little-substantiation, the lying and illigitmacy remarks don't resonate whatsoever.

There's plenty of data out there to support Bush's illegitimacy. Be sure to read Greg Palast's pieces on the Florida elections to find out more about what really happened (especially regarding Jeb Bush's administration's role in kicking thousands of people off the voting rolls).

And the lying... well, what would you call it when the Bush administration says that they want to "liberate" and bring democracy to the Iraqi people, then turn their backs on the Iraqi opposition and their desire for a democracy in Iraq? (And, btw, this is from the mouth of a member of the Iraqi opposition). What exactly are they liberating them from? Saddam Hussein alone? What about the rights of the citizens to free elections? That's no longer part of the plan?

I'm not going to put forth any sort of effort to bring you up to speed on current events. If you're not willing to look into this stuff for yourself, I can't help you.

It is only the most intelligent and the most stupid who are not susceptible to change.
