Comments: Hardware ups and downs

Not everything takes double the memory, though. Code probably does, but not all data (such as text and images) will.

I, too, have so far failed in my limited attempts to set up a build environment. I didn't really try much because my software configuration isn't exactly supported: VC9, Windows SDK 6.1, Vista, 64-bit...

That's a sweet box!

Out of curiosity, what keyboard do you use? If you don't already have one, I highly recommend the Natural Keyboard 4000. It's like warm apple pie.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to seeing results from the RAM disk build! I thought about going that route when I build my current computer, but compatibility problems forced me to 32-bit XP instead of 64-bit Vista. 3.25 GB ain't enough for a RAM disk build, I don't think.

I noted an aged blog post about sci-fi writing, and was curious to see if you still did anything of the sort?

The bent in this post about Star Trek gives me hope you are still interested in it to some degree. I would like to talk with you about it - I myself enjoy writing sci-fi and sometimes its hard to find like-minded peers (that is ones who haven't been published for their works or have chips on their shoulders).

If you would, get in touch - as I cannot seem to find a contact e-mail on your zine.
