He made too many erroneous statement, apparently because he didn't even try firefox 3 beta 4 at all.

As a commenter pointed out, it might not make sense for a lot of popular extensions (like AdBlock and VideoDownloader) to be part of firefox, considering how it may affect firefox's image. (I too can imagine sites banning firefox because it blocks ads.)
I think user script functionality is something that you shouldn't have to install an extension for, but that's just my opinion.

Safari on Windows just looks completely out of place on Windows.
IIRC someone from AMO said that the majority of users installing extensions at all, have not installed any of the top 5 Firefox Add-ons.
