Comments: Who's working on Gecko-based editing tools?

Hi,
Concerning ETNA, I'd just like to point out that it's Laurent Jouanneau of Disruptive Innovation ( http://disruptive-innovations.com/ ) who created it (and he still works on it, see http://www.ljouanneau.com/blog/en ).
And he already is a member of Mozpad, as webmaster of Xulfr.org .

You may also want to invite Pete Collins to take part in mozpad discussions about this. He has worked on a number of tools to make Mozilla application development easier over the years. I don't think any of the following projects are currently under active development, but Pete is still around working on other things.

Yes Laurent Jouanneau works for DI and ETNA is anything but a dead project. Laurent's working on a new rng validator for it.
I'm also working on fullerscreen pro, a slideshow editor, and Composer is not dead.

Just curious, I didn't see any mention on mozpad that eclipse had been selected as the base for an IDE. I would think that using the same technologies for the IDE that are used for the apps/extensions would be highly beneficial, and not require those interested in pursuing an IDE to learn java and a whole new platform (eclipse).

(From Alex: It's been the subject of discussion on mozpad for a while. FWIW, Shane, I agree with you. However, plasticmillion and Mukunda will be speaking on this in more detail, since they're closer to that effort.)
