One thing I learned long ago is that the number of rows of stitching along the brim indicate quality. Unless there are some rows that aren't made of black thread, I would be somewhat concerned about that hat weathering an active developer.

I have examined the sample hat thoroughly, I am of the mind it is really good quality and could stand the test of time. The hat is made by Alternative Apparel, and so far I have been pleased by the quality of their products.
