Firefox Ladies Hooded sweatshirt now available!

Our first Firefox ladies item has landed - check it out: http://store.mozilla.org/product.asp?code=MZ14009&catid=2.
I have one and I love wearing it. Very comfortable item and good quality.

Also, for those of you that are interested, we have a dev php/apache version of the store running. I am now in the process of testing it and it should be live soon.

New Mozilla store items - your feedback

We have added a few new items to the Mozilla store recently, and I was wondering what people thought about these items:

(1) Firefox Fleece
(2) Firefox Champion Sweatshirt

Also, I wanted to find out what people thought about the Mozilla branded items - we are almost sold out of the mozilla.org star tshirt, and I wondered if there was community interest in continuing to carry that item, or other Mozilla-branded items (Asa and I have toyed with the idea of doing a Mozilla classic line, and some kind of cool Mozilla jacket).

Let me know your thoughts. I am always interested in what you have to say.

We are adding a trial item to the store - an American Apparel ladies hooded zip sweatshirt. The sweatshirt will be navy and will have the Firefox logo and tagline. I have a tentative ETA of 2-27-06 for this item.

Feedback from a Mozilla Store customer

A few days ago, one of our Mozilla Store customers posted to spreadfirefox.com about an issue he was having with the U.S. store. I resolved his issue, and he sent me the following email. I thought I would share it with you:

"For sake of keeping things short, I just went through a pretty bad online
buying experience at MozillaStore.com But don't stop reading here. Though
a series of problems arose, each more aggravating than the last, the Store
Manager, Marcia Knous, stepped in when she heard of my problems, assuring me
that my satisfaction was her top priority.

To be honest I thought "I've heard this before". And I really wasn't
expecting her to have the power or ability to get anything done for me. It
just sounded like the standard kiss-off you get; something they say while
they sit back and hope the problem resolves itself.

But nothing could be further from the truth. It was no less than
OVERWHELMINGLY impressive how quickly Marcia spoke with her merchant, making
them aware of the situation, and keeping me in constant communication for
the scope of the issue.

To say that I was floored by that level of customer service is really
cutting the credit short. Marcia personally took the responsibility,
apologized, and then took care of business. Not only that, but she went
above and beyond the call all in the good name of the Mozilla Store. It's
rare, yet satisfying, to see someone step up to the plate in that manner.
In by doing so, I feel she makes MozillaStore a beacon of how other online
merchants should treat their customers.

Well, I just got my product today; 4 of the navy blue Firefox logo polo
shirts. She assured me these would be of the highest quality, and I
couldn't agree more! The stitching on the logo is EXCEPTIONAL; so much
intricate detail, and not heavy at all. The fabric is also very comfortable
and the sizing chart on the website helped me select the PERFECT size. I
couldn't help but smile from ear to ear when I donned my polo. I was proud
to help promote a product that I was behind 100%.

It's people like Marcia; the TRULY dedicated, who made by experience at
MozillaStore.com as positive as it was. She really takes care of her
customers and doesn't just talk the talk.

Thanks to Mrs. Knous' customer-oriented intervention, I will be able to
sport these stylish shirts all over the work and back at home. And if
anyone asks me where I got them, I'll say "MozillaStore.com can Fox ya, and
tell Marcia I sent ya!"

Sincerely,

Aaron Martone
-Friend of the FoxT

Just wanted to know that I do care about our store customers, and will work hard to resolve any issues that customers have - and so will both of our vendors, Gateway CDI and Merchandise Mania. Aaron's issue was an isolated one, and I believe that our store customers are getting good products and good customer service. As always, feel free to send emails with store feedback to storesuggestions@mozillafoundation.org

New item available at the Mozilla Store - Firefox Sweatshirt

We just added a new item to the mix - a Firefox sweatshirt.

This is an excellent quality sweatshirt that will last you a lifetime. It is similar to the collegiate-style sweatshirts. Some of you may wonder why we did not put the Firefox logo on it - because of the complexity of the design and the amount of stitches, it would have driven the price of the sweatshirt up beyond what we felt is reasonable.
