What a great film this is. A boy in South Africa has a pet orphaned cheetah and realizes that the animal is not suited to urban life, so he takes off through the wilderness to return the cat to its original home. Not perhaps extremely realistic (the kid would probably have gotten eaten by the crocs in the river), but still a great film.
