Nintendo denounces Wii Remote lawsuit | Reg Hardware
Evidently the original Wii remote strap has a thin cord that can break if someone is too overzealous while swinging the thing around. I think a lawsuit is ridiculous given that Nintendo is already offering new, thicker straps for free. We'll see how it comes out, but in the meantime, if you have a Wii, make sure you have the thicker strap and, if not, get Nintendo to send you a new one.
