A diamond in the rough
is hidden behind coal
Like the flesh that hides
your immortal soul
God tests us
like a chisel
Testing the coal
Revealing the diamond
Without the sorrow
Without the woe
A soul unchiseled
is but a hunk of coal.
So suffer your trials
and don't look back.
