Prefs System Rewrite
After months of saying I was going to do it, I have actually started rewriting Camino's preferences system. I'm reorganizing the panels and also fixing a bunch of bugs along the way. It was pretty difficult to decide how to organize the prefs, but I think I have a reasonable plan. After discussing it to death, it has become quite clear that no perfect organization exists. Well thought-out comments and suggestions are welcome now and after it lands.

Thanks for doing the blog thing, I love hearing about what's gonna happen next. Oh yeah, and thanks for making Camino cooler.

Well, there's this one pref I really want that would control toolbar button colors... ;)
Hopefully I'll be back in the game soon, and we can have fierce weblog arguments about controversial features!

Overall, access to the hundreds of "prefs.js" type prefs might be a good long term goal. There's a lot of power and "distinguish from other browsers" stuff in there that is almost totally inaccessible to 90% of the user base.
First, I'd suggest a GUI pref for managing the search engine list would be my number one...along with moving this data to Application Support.
Oh, and not to forget, thanks for blogging...
