Jean shorts while golfing are a great indicator you shouldn't be golfing. Ever.

Hm. I am surprised they even let you go on the green with anything denim on you. I wore some nice-looking jeans once when visiting a golf course and I was reminded of their "no denim policy" about a million times during my stay. Funnily these hardly friendly reminders were all wearing clothes that, besides them not being made of denim, quite frankly looked much more sloppy than my dark blue pants.
