How To Stop Firefox From Crashing When Watching ABC.com Full Episodes

Trying to watch an episode of Lost at abc.com and Firefox crashes on you? If you have Firebug installed, be sure to disable it for abc.com - that fixed it for me.

This tidbit actually came from the website of the company that created the plugin (Move Networks).

Was there a bug filed for this? Crashes in JSD are Not Good and should be fixed.

It is unclear where the crash occurs - mozilla or the plugin.

I nowadays always have Firebug disabled by default, and only explicitly enable it for sites when I need it.

This because with the Firefox 3 betas I’ve had it cause crashes on several occasions.

Leaving Firebug enabled can significantly affect the load time of a website, you should never have it enabled unless you're debugging.
