Plugin Finder Service Gets Bugzilla Component

The Plugin Finder Service (pfs) got its own bugzilla component under the Firefox component. Please file bugs there :)

I guess this means that Plugin Finder Service has become the official name for the feature. The name was taken from the old Netscape plugin system, as the Firefox feature is something we had talked about back at the Netscape plugin meetings before hell broke loose.

Nice, before I file a bug, can anyone confirm that
under the uncensored section at ifilm.com
The PFS says plugins need to be installed, but then fails to find any. It seems to me the site would require no plugins I don´t already have.

Thanks

NOTE, be aware of the content of the uncensored sectio, it's not work friendly.

I am running MSWindows98.

I have recently switched from Mozilla Version 1.7.2 to Mozilla Firefox.

While attempting to download JAVA 2 Runtime Environment Standard Edition, running Mozilla 1.7.2, the system timed out while attempting to contact "jdl.sun.com". I attempted the download many times; at no time did I succeed at contacting "jdl.sun.com".

While attempting the same download running Mozilla Firefox, I continually receive an error message "no appriate plugin can be found".

Is there some remedy for this situation?

Thank you,

Edward Stephenson
