Good Old Evangelism (imax.com)
IMAX.com has recently been broken in Gecko browsers because they managed to comment out the line that adds Mozilla support:
//var isW3C = (document.getElementById && !isIE4) ? true : false;
Having had been a professional evangelist at Netscape for over a year, and wanting to find out the showing times for Goats 3D in my favourite bloated fast browser, I emailed them about this (a short 3 line email with the offending line).
Thank you for your email to info@imax.com. I've forwarded your message to our website maintenance company to see if they can determine why this problem is occuring.
Reminds me of the good old days.

Well since the usual response I got to evang mails was more like "screw you," or perhaps "what's Netscape/Mozilla?," or the always popular no reply, this seems a lot more like the start of a new era. Maybe with Firefox getting so much more press it's time to pick up the evangelism game again.

:) This is how I feel about the suite, although I'm pretty sure you are talking about Firefox ;D.
I agree with Zach, sounds like a very nice response compared to what I've gotten in the past.

Sounds like a good reply to me. At least they didn't say "We only support IE". OMG I hated that response.

What an amazing website imax.com is, kudos to the "website maintenance company" for creating a site that only displays a black background unless the user happens to have javascript enabled or a proprietry plugin installed. These guys sure know their stuff huh?
