A whole week of no work! Means I'll actually have to do something for once...
As for Gmail notifications, with tons of help from Darin, I managed to get a pure js/Necko xpcom way of screenscraping working, which means no need for evil

I found your blog yesterday and have been refreshing about every 5 minutes waiting for an update to the extension -- keep up the good work, and if there is any way you could release even a non-working version for us to hack on today, maybe... ;)
