AOL Sucks - Or How I Had To Get A New Screenname
my perfect AOL screenname, DoronRosenberg, has been suspended. I totally forgot that internally binded accounts get deactivated when your contract runs out, which should have been today (but I quit a month early).
So my new screenname is nsidoron. The interface isn't frozen and has some nifty methods like ::SlapTIMSWith(*object) and ::GangBangletInit().

I called GangBangletInit(), but it threw an Components.results.NS_ERROR_WRONG_HOLE

I recently went through this (or about 4 months ago) when I canceled my account.
Interesting thing about this is that you can still login to netscape.com (using your existing screen name) and you still get access to your email and it pretends like you have AIM access too.
I asked AOL about this, as my screen name hadnt been the primary name (for this reason) and they refered me to AIM, who then responded once, saw my screen shot (which I cant find at the moment) and that was the end of it. No response, nothing.
Supposedly you need to wait 6 months or so before you can regain your old account, using same password as before. Now the wait.
