Executive Direction
Not too long ago, those of us on the selection committee for the Executive Director of the Mozilla Foundation met with Eunice Azzani (the executive recruiter who's running the search)
to talk further about how we'd like to move forward with the selection process.
We were hoping to have an AirMozilla episode that would discuss this in more detail, but unfortunately logistical problems have conspired against us for the moment. There may yet be a chance to do this after the first round, which is when more community involvement is going to become key. Fortunately, the notes from the first meeting do capture things pretty well.
The process is split up into several rounds, and we'd like to be sure that anyone who knows of candidates who might be suitable to nominate these folks by sending mail to Eunice: azzanie@kornferry.com. Be liberal in your nominations, in the sense that even if you know of someone whom you think has the potential to be a good fit, send their name along, even if you don't know if they meet the qualifications precisely.

web-based protocol handler brainstorming
Similarly to how Firefox ships with a set of per-locale search providers, we'd also like to ship Firefox 3 with a default (per-locale) set of web-based protocol handlers. A list of possible protocols and candidate handlers has been started. What other protocols and handlers should we be considering? If you have ideas, please add them to the Discussion tab of that wiki page...
