EJACS, anyone?

I've been hearing lots of "The Web Is the Platform" discussion lately, and it occurs to me that someone needs to write a DHTML/AJAX wiki with a UI that is a faithful reimplementation of EMACS.

Actually, I really want a viMAX, or whatever one would care to call it. I've thought about it, but do not have months to kill working on it. :D
