Google Links to texturizer.net

Appearantly, there's a new start page at google.com/firefox, which features tips and other info about Firefox. One of these tips, the one about keyboard shortcuts, is linking to the old Firefox Help site. Because of that, I had to make it so that it redirects to the new Mozilla.org hosted site.

Really? I found that "Firefox Help & Add-ons" links to "http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/central.html". Maybe Google has updated the page already.

By the way, I wonder who made that page... :-P

If I remember correctly the initial creators were the Wordsmiths, but don't quote me on it. Localizers have been working on the tips for a while, tho, in n.p.m.l10n.

Hey, you can notify google to respider your site. If you do a http moved permanently and redirect to the new site, you should be ok.

David,
either me or peterv will track this down. I have the offending ones on my disk. 17 snippets :-/.

I've removed those links and replaced them with links to the right mozilla.org page. Note that Google needs to pull them in, and apparently that can take a while.
