If you're a UI freak like me, then you'll appreciate Lim Chee Aun's rundown of Firefox UI glitches. Unsignificant as they may seem for some of you, I say it's the details that make a product a success. Not that Firefox isn't already a success, but hopefully, all of these "bugs" will be fixed anyway.
Posted by djst at September 4, 2004 1:28 PMCan you file bugs for them? You can get away with more bugs than normal people and help Firefox.
Posted by: Ihu at September 4, 2004 2:48 PMSome of the existing bugs that I found:
Tooltips background colors:

Bookmark context menu: (one of them at least)
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=243235
Disable menu for inactive window:

In PageSetup the internal window changes size:

How about allowing users to drag menus. Try keeping the mouse button pressed down while open a menu like "File" or "Edit", and then a submenu like "send". In every Windows program, it automatically goes to the next menu, but in Firefox it stays stuck and you have to reclick it everytime...
(yes, you did say "small" UI glitches, right? ;))
Posted by: JohnD at September 4, 2004 7:39 PM^ Nevermind, it's only if you click after the first menu.
Acutally you know all that Firefox really needs are toolbar grippies like in IE. Moving those big toolbars like Google @ mozdev.org is a hassle if you do it button by button...
Posted by: JohnD at September 4, 2004 7:47 PMLim Chee has done some fine work in identifying lots of little problems. I've got a few more and his tracking in http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=257480

Posted by: Asa Dotzler at September 5, 2004 12:20 AMAnother small UI glitch I've noticed is that when you click a toolbar button, the button image doesn't shift down to the right as it does in other windows applications
Posted by: Håvard Lindset at September 5, 2004 12:41 PMHere's another that's just been fixed:
Bookmarks toolbar folder under bookmarks hasn't the same context menu as other bookmark folders
