Mozilla.org site redesign - Wow!

I just visited the Mozilla.org home page and I must say I'm impressed by the redesign. It looks very good, sleek, stylish and simple. Easy to navigate. It seems the Mozilla.org web site has made the same trip as the Mozilla software has. From a bloated mess to a sleek and powerful design. Good work!

Another thing that striked me was the similarity in design between Mozilla.org and my own help sites. Makes me feel good actually. :) Maybe it's time to integrate Firefox/Thunderbird Help with Mozilla.org?

Hi

Mozilla did a great job reorganizing the content and highlighting their best sellers. Good job and keep up the good work.

I am really enjoying using the browser, and the site just keeps getting better.

"Maybe it's time to integrate Firefox/Thunderbird Help with Mozilla.org?"

Yes, this would be a *very* good idea! :D

I personally prefer the look of the help sites to the main site - the main one looks too heavy.

Very professional and polished. I'm glad there are people that think outside of the box, as they say. Great work, keep it going.

Why haven't Firefox/Thunderbird help been hooked up with mozilla.org from the beginning?

I love Mozilla for saving me from IE and the rest. You've really provided us with the tools I need to have the complete internet experience... well, almost all I need. > How 'bout getting Moz to sync with a palm on a mac?

Thx

The new site design does look great. There's just one thing I would change, and it's a real nit: the spines on the lizard's crest touch the left border of the image. I would add a few pixels of white space between the border and the spines.

You're help sites are awesome, thanks for that.

The new Mozilla site does look good, great work!

The best thing, though, is that it looks the same in any browser - Firefox, Internet Explorer, Maxthon. Probably Opera too (I don't use that one).

Clearly care taken at the design stage to ensure consistent look and feel, no matter what browser.

David, your content is always welcome on mozilla.org ;-)

Neville, almost...
In IE, it looks wider (less left/right margin). And some round corners become sharp corners.
It looks idential in Opera.

Looks nice, esp. the front page, but try actually looking for something under "downloads" for example. First of all the sidebar is useless as it performs now. secondly "releases" only shows Mozilla suite releases for some reason. Also, changelogs are nowhere to be found. \

Nightly builds...why does only mozillazine actually link to Firefox nightlies? Does mozilla.org=only talk about the suite?

the "Developers" section is also extremely lihgt on content for some reason, unforutnate because I've seen many articles linked on other websites I can't find on moz.org.

In conclusion, The old newspaper-like site was way better for actually finding stuff. I hope this is fixed soon, because now it actually looks nice.
