Fedora Core 2 Test 1

I'm going to try Fedora Core 2 Test 1 to see if I get the same problems with the FAT32 drives on that distro. If so, it must be a problem with the 2.6 kernel. Otherwise it's just a stupid bug in Mandrake 10 RC1. I'm currently burning the 4 CDs from the .iso files. They had the correct checksums after all, but something's definitely not working properly with either my CPU or my hard drive.

Did u thght of trying Knoppix??

Debian based and easy to install. and with a good internet connection u will not have ne trouble installing new packages once u install synaptic.

Fedora 2t1 is great. I found only one blocking problem for me : Grub does not recognize ReseirFS-based system partitions at all...

Why the rush to kernal 2.6.
Since your having so many problems why not just stick to something more stable like Fedora core 1?

Jed, because I like to test the latest stuff. I don't plan to use it as my primary OS.
