Arvid has been working with the default theme for Mozilla Firebird lately and fixed a lot of small css issues I mentioned, as well as improving the overall appearance of the toolbar icons.

The differences are subtle but very important for the overall professional appearance. Good work Arvid!
Yes, I'm also using the icon pack extension by Jed Brown for the window icon, originally designed by Lim Chee Aun.
Update: The recent changes in Qute was just checked in by kerz!
Posted by djst at July 8, 2003 8:03 PMWhere can you get the new theme? It hasn't been check in yet has it?
Posted by: willll at July 8, 2003 8:36 PMNo it hasn't been checked in yet but it should soon I think.
Posted by: David Tenser at July 8, 2003 8:44 PMThis is definitely an improvement. Those icons are so beautiful. It solve one problem that has irked me when using Qute. The icons are a little dark making it duller than other icon sets. The history icon maybe still too dark.

Posted by: Jason Kersey at July 8, 2003 8:58 PMWow, those are nifty, but I'll never see them anyways. After installing the Radial Context and Compact Menu extensions, I only have the urlbar, bookmarks, and search field.
Posted by: Eric Hodel at July 8, 2003 9:00 PMWhy does every new version of Qute have to look more and more like IE?
There's no reason why it can't be professional and non-IE-like at the same time!
Posted by: at July 8, 2003 10:44 PMGreat work, Arvid!
The new theme really looks good.
Posted by: Dunderklumpen at July 9, 2003 2:06 PMLooking good Arvid!!
Posted by: zak at July 9, 2003 2:10 PMwhere did you get that insider shot?
Posted by: nemo at July 9, 2003 5:11 PMnemo, I guess I'm an insider. :)
I usually test the Qute theme for Arvid and provide him with feedback, that's why.
