Plot Twists

Regarding the plot twist 3/4 of the way into Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic: OMG. I totally did not see *that* coming. What a great game.

Blog Apathy

I've had real trouble blogging lately, despite momentous events occurring in the Mozilla/Netscape/AOL sphere. The primary problem being that all of the things I would like to say, I really shouldn't, and so it's better to just say nothing at all. Others have summed it all up better than I could have anyway. Suffice it to say that I'm happy about Mozilla finally being independent of AOL and I think the future looks bright for the bird apps in their new home with the Mozilla Foundation.

I've been busy actually doing stuff lately (you know with real people in real places and not online!), so my blogging has suffered. When in doubt about what to blog about, I fall back on pop culture, and this entry will be no exception. So here goes...

Thanks to Pink for recommending The Restaurant on NBC. A reality show from Mr. Mark Burnett, The Restaurant follows a chef named Rocco in his quest to open a trendy Italian restaurant in New York City. Lots of drama, lots of fighting. Good times.

On the game front, Earth and Beyond just added a bunch of new content so I've been exploring that. I've been trying out Star Wars Galaxies and have been impressed by the engine and graphics but underwhelmed by the content. On the XBox front I've been enthralled by Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, a fantastic game by Bioware that plays like a 3D Baldur's Gate 2 with light sabers.

I drooled a bit over the Japanese Xenosaga Episode 2 site and wished once more that I was fluent in Japanese so I could just buy these games the minute they come out.
