Status update for week ending May 6, 2005
Highlights
- Firefox trunk builds now include Canvas. (Linux builds with Canvas are still experimental, see next item.)
- Progress made on new Firefox trunk Linux build system -- builds being QA'd by MoFo staff.
- bryner landed his fastback patch!
New build systems
- Mounted 3 DL360s in our colo and configured two of three for building.
- One DL360 is prometheus, a Linux build system currently reporting to MozillaTest.
- One DL360 is pacifica, a Windows Server 2003 build system currently reporting to MozillaTest but not yet building.
- One DL360 is solaria, a Windows Server 2003 build system not yet building.
- The fourth DL360 was DOA upon further investigation. RMA.
Firefox trunk build changes
- Respins for brendan's and bryner's changes on Wednesday.
- Enabled Canvas in Windows and Mac builds.
- Linux builds also building with Canvas. Those builds are happening on a build system producing builds to be blessed by QA.
Build system infrastructure
- prototype build script branch containing chroma's Firefox trunk l10n build scripts
- plan for including other products in our build infrastructure
Deer Park
- meeting, emails
Firefox 1.0.3
- Pending updates for locales made live.
Et cetera
- meetings - staff, drivers
- man the Talkback helm while Jay is on vacation
- troubleshoot CVS connection problems
- upcoming reassignment of build/release QA bugs owned by granrose

Just wanted to tell you your willingness to take the time to make a few notes of your activities for the last week is much appreciated. Many of us always seem to want to know more about what is happening at MoFo, and your look from "deep in the trenches" is much appreciated.
