Well, on the bright side, my schedule suddenly opened up by about three hours tomorrow night.
Why do people get so animated about bugs getting a blocking1.x flag minused (denied)? Its almost as if they connote blocking- with "we don't want to fix this bug" when that could not be further from the truth.
My principals patch has re-landed for 1.6alpha. Thank you bz and jst, for reviewing it!
Today was a good day.
I got review on a patch that has been needing review for a while. Which means that I can begin to stop worrying about having a ton of trees which all conflict with each other because I can start checking things in. Which means I can re-land my huge principals patch. Which means I can start working on Mozilla again in my free time without it being a huge pain in my arse.
And the Yankees advance to the World Series. What a great, classic game! Game 7, slumping slugger hits homers. Ace pitcher gets knocked out early. Two game losing pitcher this series saves the game by getting out of a first and third, no out jam early on. Late inning comeback against the other team's ace. Walk-off home run. Does it get any better?
Actually, I lied. Today was a great day.
Playoff baseball is fun. Especially when I know that my team is advancing. Tonight, I went to Game 5 of the RedSox-A's series with Jay who had an extra ticket. I was rooting for Oakland for several reasons: 1) I would be able to see the Yankees play in the ALCS one of the games, and 2) I just don't like seeing the Red Sox win, being a Yankees fan. It turns out that the Red Sox won the game, and the series. It was a fun 9 innings though, and I enjoyed my first game at the Oakland Coliseum. Looks like Sox will just have to get beaten by the Yankees, again.
