It used to be a good bit more, but I've been removing myself from the more spammy bugs for months now.

Yeah, I was rather pleasantly surprised.

The bad news is that over half of those 170 "junk" mails are due to bugs in Bugzilla (all filed of course).

Roughly how many of the "junk" emails were dup notifications? I'm curious whether Layout gets more dups (as a result of unknowledgeable bug filers) or fewer dups (because there are fewer people who believe they are knowledgeable enough to file bugs, as compared to any of the more user-centric components).

I counted dup notifications in the "bug-fix related" category. So none of the junk mails are dup notifications. If I were to redo this, I think I would indeed classify dup notifications as junk. I think I got on the order of 50-100 dup notifications this last week, but that's just my memory, which could be wrong.
